Connor's Journey
On the 13th September 2014, in his first rugby game of the season, Connor sustained an injury to his C5 and C6 vertebrae which damaged his spinal cord. This was a life changing event, leaving Connor Quadriplegic with no sensation from his shoulders down.
The family and friends of Connor are now actively fundraising to help him achieve his aims as below which will allow him to lead his life like he always has; full of challenges, hard work, fun and adventure.
Selkirk Colonial Society
Website of Selkirk Colonial Society who were founded in Canada in 1910 by exiles from the town of Selkirk, Scotland.
Their prime objective was to provide a flag - a "Golden Banner" - and send it back to their home town. This flag would become both a powerful symbol and rallying point for Selkirk's exiles who return each year in June, from all parts of the world, to attend the Selkirk Common Riding.
Although founded in Canada, Selkirk Colonial Society is based in the Scottish Borders town of Selkirk
