A Fantastic Afternoons Racing at the Gala Rig
20th August 2016

A successful afternoons' racing has once again taken place on the Gala Rig last Saturday. The town turned out in force as did the horses, and some good competitive racing was had. Despite a couple of fallers the afternoon went exceedingly well and a great time was had by all those who attended, with the party in the tent continuing well in to the evening! On behalf of all the committee I would like to thank all the sponsors, financial contributors, supporting services, and to the people of Selkirk and further afield, for coming along and making it possible once more. A healthy gate figure ensures the longevity of the race meeting itself, and that local organisations and good causes will once again benefit. Thank you to all.

The Three Brethren Handicap (7 fur)
1st Gladiator
2nd Rocky Hollow
