John Smail's kind donation to Scott's Selkirk

Documentary film maker John Smail (right) presents a cheque for £250 to Viv Ross, Maistress of Scott’s Selkirk, watched by Sir Walter Scott (actor John Nichol). Copies of John’s successful DVD, “A Souter’s Year”, were sold through the Scott’s Selkirk shop in the town’s Market Place, and the donation was to thank the shop’s volunteers for their kind support.
